FALL CLEAN UP
When: October 10, 2020
Where: TBD (Waste Management has not finalized if they are picking up waste at individual homes or at the ballfield). We will update you when we find out. This does not include yard waste (grass, tree trimmings) or appliances, flammables and paint, tvs, microwaves, carpets, or other excess or old building supplies (decks or railings, sheet rock, old flooring, etc.). You can drop off mattresses, couches, chairs, other small furniture and household items.
Appliance pick up must be scheduled through the City Office before October 10th and your name/address and the item placed on the list. The cost is $25.00. This includes: washers/dryers, refrigerators, microwaves, stoves, dishwashers. Those items can be set out and tagged with your name and address and will be picked up by city staff the following week after Oct. 10th.
Also, if you haven't already done so, please complete your Census at www.2020census.gov to make sure you're counted. This helps Harpers Ferry and Allamakee County receive the maximum benefits from Federal and State sources for the next 10 years so it's extremely important to be counted. Thank you!!
